Some people don't know how to give up. Burning Bridges started as a
side project on Sept 12, 2001. A bunch of friends who just wanted to
play hardcore along the line of Killing Time, Judge, Burn - you get the
idea. The band has survived flipping vans, arrests, police raids on
recording studios, break ups, massive line up changes, and about
anything else bad luck could spit at them. Well the band has come full
circle, after the departure of their second singer Hans Liebald and
original guitar player Joe Camerar, Burning Bridges went back to their
roots. Scott J (Tripface & Lariat) has put down the bass, returning
to vocal duties, and Sam Contampasis (Lariat & Blood Has Been Shed) is
back on bass. Filling the void left by Joe Camereari is Scott D. of
Albany's Punk Hardcore stalwarts That's Life. Burning Bridges is
back, this time stronger then ever. This time it's time to get back to
the original blue prints that got them started.
Burning Bridges goals for the future is pretty simple: play as much as
possible, and continue the work ethic of their past bands all while
creating quality hardcore. Maybe their luck has changed, but even if
it hasn't, this band has proven they can survive just about anything.
