Rosary is a party machine, fueled by hardcore, girls and Coca-Cola.
Formed in the fall of 2002, these five dudes, featuring members who served time in staple west coast hardcore acts such as CARRY ON and STAY GOLD, came together in a time where it seemed like nothing else was going right. Their goal was to start a band that played hardcore for the sake of playing hardcore, and have an awesome time doing it. Within a month of forming, they recorded a five song demo and began playing as often as possible. The demo quickly caught the eye of THORP RECORDS, and after one more trip to the studio to demo out a few new tracks in March of 2003, these Seattle boys were ready to ink the deal.
Rosary plays straight up hardcore that respects the bands that helped establish the scene they love, but isn't afraid to go in new directions. Emotional lyrics often deal with the worst parts of life on a very personal level that everyone listening can relate to. The music is hard and fast, with breakdowns that are made to get kids stomping.
After a summer spent reorganizing, writing and hitting the road with other bands, ROSARY are ready to enter the studio this fall and record a full length CD to be releases in early 2004 on THORP. In the meantime go see them on the road and join the party.
Just keep them away from your coffee table.
