Bio: Hailing from a small town outside of Burlington Vermont rockers Rise to Fight are quickly becoming a household name. Within less than a year they have recorded their debut EP Where dreams go to die and have shared the stage with bands such as Terror, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Scissor fight, Death Before Dishonor, and many more. Combining a wide variety of influences from 80s metal, modern day hardcore and a touch of rock, Rise to Fight satisfies a wide range of audiences. Guitarist Mark Lucia moved to Burlington Vermont in the early 90s from a small town where keg parties and cow tipping were the only weekend activities. Answering an add in the local music store he teamed up with other Burlington natives to form a band called Never Again. Never Again took off quickly and was noticed by Jeff Howlette (Pressure point records). Jeff sent Never Again to Montreal to record with well known producer/engineer Glen Robinson (Gwar, Queensrych, Tori Amos, Voi Vod, and Metal Church). The album Through Bleeding Hands was born and Never Again played throughout the east cost extensively. Enter Ryan Lewis , Tj Maynard and Ryan Boutin. What do these three friends have in common? Having grown up together in St. Albans Vermont and sharing music as their common interest, they formed a band called When Glass Shatters. When Glass Shatters was quickly recognized by Lewiss powerful vocals, Maynards inspiring bass lines and Boutins technical drumming. When Glass Shatters had a huge local following with off the wall and aggressive live shows. Rise to fight will most defiantly satisfy your taste for aggressive, unique music. Pick up a copy of Where dreams go to die and check out a live show. We promise you wont be sorry that you did.
