holy shit, that was rad.

i've never really cared about how musicians play their instruments - perhaps because i've never aspired to play an instrument myself - but dave grohl is hyper when he plays. he looks like animal from the mupet show.

also, fuck all that standing around and bobbing your head shit the crowd is doing. RUN HEAD FIRST INTO PEOPLE AND KICK EM IN THE THROAT!!!!

JawnDiablo - 1-18-2008 at 11:36 AM

and Lemmy still sounds great ..dudes like in his mid 60s and shit

Voodoobillyman - 1-18-2008 at 12:04 PM

FUCK!!!! I can't see youtube shit, and you said Lemmy damnit! What is it?

Here's the youtube desription:

Foo Fighters take on Motorhead's I'll Be Your Sister with Lemmy at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Lemmy singing, Dave Grohl on drums. And it's in some tiny ass room.

newbreedbrian - 1-18-2008 at 12:54 PM

that was pretty good and yeah dave was super hyper. i like the chicks up front doing the typical bar slut strut.

clevohardcore - 1-18-2008 at 01:52 PM

THAT. FUCKING.JAMS.

JawnDiablo - 1-18-2008 at 02:46 PM

one of my favorite Motorhead tunes to add to it.

Discipline - 1-18-2008 at 04:12 PM

Classic Motorhead tune. Lemmy rules all.

MyOwnWay - 1-19-2008 at 12:08 AM

The people in that room had no idea how to appreciate such an awesome performance like that. Its crazy though... Members of Motorhead, Nirvana, and No Use For A Name. If in 93 someone would have mentioned members of those bands performing together it would have been crazy.

exactly

XHonusWagnerX - 1-19-2008 at 11:11 AM

it looks like everyone in that room EXCEPT the guy playing air guitar have no clue who they are watching at all. Kind of sad!

DaveMoral - 1-19-2008 at 02:17 PM

Grohl is Animal.

tireironsaint - 1-19-2008 at 09:26 PM

Am I the only one who thought this was an incredibly weak version of a classic song? Lemmy was the only one who sounded good and even he sounded like he would have rather been somewhere else. Of course, with that kind of a crowd, who wouldn't rather be somewhere else? Plus, it seems I may be the only person on the board who thinks the Foo Fighters suck ass.

Nope, I'm with you on that.

newbreedbrian - 1-20-2008 at 12:07 AM

yup, foo fighters blow. and i thought lemmy sounded great as well as top notch drumming. the guitar player, especially that weak ass solo can suck my balls though

JawnDiablo - 1-20-2008 at 12:41 AM

I'm still diggin it....

Ditto, never dug them, or Nirvana. I can't give my opinion on this performance because I can't fucking see it! oh well, Lemmy for President!!!!!!!

XHonusWagnerX - 1-20-2008 at 06:11 PM

I always like the Foo Fighter songs that come out as singles, but Ive bought a few of the CDs and never liked them overall. I did like a lot of Nirvana though.
