On the heels of a 2007 chock full of releases, Sex Pistols have apparently decided to take a stab at some new material.
According to the report, Johnny Rotten (John Lydon), Glen Matlock, Steve Jones, and Paul Cook hope to start recording their new material in the first
half of this year. Drummer Paul Cook cautions, however:
There's talk of new material. The only problem is that it's a bit hard to work on anything as John and Steve are in America and Glen and I are in
the UK. So, it's a case of finding the time to get together. We might not pull together an album but hopefully there will be some new stuff in time
for the summer.
2007 celebrated the release of the band's landmark 1977 album, Never Mind the Bollocks.

there is talk of another u.s. tour this year
they were by far the greatest show i have ever seen
anyone who gets a chance and dosent go see them play is for real missing out
this is from someone who never leaves the house anymore
i would travel to see them again
and that's saying something

I just got my hands on a copy of them live at The Winterland in 1978, last show ever with Sid. Its a crowd recording but its not bad. A friend of mine
found it on some site called dimeadozen or something. I'll find out what site it was.

i have a recording of that show along with many live recordings they did, esp. during the first reunion tour in 1996
by far my fav. band of all time

I want to see this tour if it happens. For some stupid reason I missed the reunon about 10 years ago.

I'd go if it came to Philadelphia or somewhere close.
I have some Sex Pistols footage that's prety cool..Sid is in the one, but the other has another dude on bass...I think so at least.
