Im fucking Pissed (fuck working)

They have been being more cautious with overtime hours at my work because the management are stupid and they posted WAY to many OT hours last year and cost themselves a lot of money that they didn’t need to spend. I TOTALLY understand a cut back and if I look at it from their side, I think it’s necessary.

Well today, they posted overtime for EVERYONE that works on my end of the building (it’s probably about 80-90 people) EXCEPT ME! So they all have 2 hours of OT per day next week and I have none. I hate the Union stereotype about work stoppages and slowing down and what not, but they have PISSED ME OFF and I’m done going above and beyond. I barely work the overtime and they know it. I work maybe 3-4 hours (out of 10-20) a week, but it’s the principal of the thing.

PLUS... if ANYONE does ANY aspect of my job during hours that I'm not here they will have to pay me for the hours because they didn’t offer me overtime. That’s all well and good, but it means that I have to pay VERY close attention to my area and supplies and be able to tell if anything was done after I left the night before.

FUCK PEOPLE....

I cant justify leaving until I have a clue what to do with myself. I just cant quit a $21 an hour job with health benefits. Unfortunantly what I have is almost unheard of in the US at this point. Im lucky even though I hate it.

I know what you mean, man. I make some decent scratch myself, but I work my ass off, I've considered taking a different job at less pay just to get some peace, and have a life.
I like what I do, I just don't like being taken advantage of. It pisses me off.
