This just happens to be the last thing in the world I care about right now. I just can't watch sports of TV. Whether it's fighting sports(and I practice martial arts) or team sports(I played football, baseball etc in my youth). Bores me to death.

DAK - 2-3-2008 at 06:42 PM

No party. Just gonna watch by myself.

Discipline - 2-3-2008 at 07:05 PM

Not fer me. Sports, other than fighting, bore me.

tireironsaint - 2-3-2008 at 07:27 PM

Fucking despise football.

Furly - 2-3-2008 at 07:44 PM

I only pretend to care about sports when I got a man, when I'm single I find it pointless.

CR83 - 2-3-2008 at 08:25 PM

I will keep an eye on it but football just doesn't interest me. I do like to commercials.

XHonusWagnerX - 2-3-2008 at 09:28 PM

me and my roommate. we got chips, dip, sodas, pizza and a cake with a patriots logo on it!

I think that if the patriots lose its going to be embarassing to have gone 18-0 and not finish the job.

It's definitely one of those things that most people look at you like you're crazy when you say it. I think my hate for it stems from growing up with both my father and my step-father being those raging football fanatics who would scream at the top of their lungs while the game was on and completely ignore me unless I asked a question directly related to the game, and that was only if I waited until the commercials. I've never understood how people get so wrapped up in such a stupid thing as grown men making millions of dollars for playing a kid's game.

JUICE MAYNE MSHC - 2-3-2008 at 11:26 PM

yeah my dad died when I was a little kid so I never got the male-bonding-while-watching-football shit.

JawnDiablo - 2-4-2008 at 12:26 AM

Wow, I think it's funny that by puttin this post up that I got all of yous ranting about how much yous hate football.
I don't even know the rules of the game to be honest.
My kid does however, and if he hs fun watchin the stuff I say whatever.
I won $90 in a block pool.
we ate a bunch of food.
drank some german beer
lighten up youll live longer

tireironsaint - 2-4-2008 at 12:35 AM

hey, if my kid wanted to spend time with me and football was the way, I'd do it. I'm just saying, the game has always seemed pointless and the franzied fans always irritate the shit outta me. When it comes down to having something to bond with the kid over though, nothing else matters. I'm glad you got a chance like that to hang with yours, JD.

clevohardcore - 2-4-2008 at 01:07 AM

ate pizza and wings.

Happy for NY GIANTS

BDx13 - 2-4-2008 at 01:19 AM

i don't follow football and i certainly don't have a favorite team, but i like watching it on occasions. it's a great excuse to veg out for a bit, snack, drink, and it looks good in hd. we have a superbowl party for 'sports not-fans' every year. again, good time to have some drinks and watch the commercials. i can't believe the patriots lost.

upyerbum - 2-4-2008 at 10:26 AM

My only experience with football is fighting the football team in high school. Rugby is a real man's game.

I agreee with that even though I watch football (allthough I really only watch because my roommate is so into it), but do you feel the same way about Baseball, Basketball, Hockey etc?

upyerbum - 2-4-2008 at 11:25 AM

I can't even sit through a Hockey game these days, and I've been watching Hockey Night in Canada for centuries. Maybe its cuz I work for a living these days.

MyOwnWay - 2-4-2008 at 11:39 AM

I dont really give a shit that the Giants won. I just love the fact the Pats lost (sorry Honus).

Went to my sisters. Ate a bunch of meatballs and hot wings. Drank a glass or two of whiskey. Good times.

ShawnRefuse - 2-4-2008 at 01:27 PM

I was happy to win 65 bucks in a grid. Even though I am a Masshole, didn't care either way if the Pats won. Would have been cool to see an undefeated run, but oh well.

Well, Hockey gets a free pass on that one, but definitely for the rest of 'em.

chris - 2-4-2008 at 04:33 PM

I'm bummed that the Pats lost mostly because it would have been such an amazing thing to see a team go undefeated in modern football, I don't think anyone will come close again for a very long time if not ever. I'm definitely a much bigger baseball and hockey fan but I follow football, its interesting and easy too see all the games since its so much less of a commitment than baseball or even hockey.

Siczine.com - 2-4-2008 at 07:12 PM

Unlike most on here, I am a huge sports fan (Hockey, Football, Baseball) and even though I hate the Giants I was really happy to see them beat the Pats and expose Belichek for what he really is, a bitch mother fucker who is a sore loser.

My dad always fell asleep during any sort of televised sports game. I liked to play football, baseball and basketball until I was about 15. Never could watch a game on TV. It's different when you're there, but when I could be out actually playing the shit myself OR doing something far more interesting... no way I'm watching anything like that on TV.

MMA fights bore the shit outta me too. Boxing I can watch, but not MMA, I don't really know why.
