Do you like it when the sequal to a movie is an entirely new stand alone movie (like Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and 3 or the Indiana Jones movies) or
do you prefer when its an ongoing story like the SAW movies, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings etc.?

either is good for me, as long as it doesn't suck.
was thinking this week about Psycho 2. That was a great sequel.
Psycho 3 was awful though.

which one was the one where Norman was on the phone with the radio psych doctor? Was that 3 or 4? I liked that one whichever it was... of course
nothing beats #1

Whatever it is they do with the Bourne movies. Thats what I like.

The Bourne movies are tight. The SAW movies have gotten better and still tied in the OG story/characters which is always good.

I like either, as long as they're good.

I prefer it to tie into one another. There aren't many series I like that constantly start over, except for Cheech and Chong Up In Smoke, Still
Smoking, and Nice Dreams

I like how Star Wars is sort of both an ongoing story AND stand alone movies. You could watch Empire Strikes Back and still have a pretty good idea of
what has gone on.

I prefer that they don't do sequels the vast majority of the time. It's one thing if it is something that is a planned continuation or has characters
worthy of continuation, but most sequels are just done because the studio knows they can cash in on it and not because there's a worthwhile story in
it.

I'm looking forward to Harold and Kumar Escape Guantanamo Bay.
