IPOD 1 GB only $49 now

I am thinking of grabbing an IPOD that is small for working out. My 80GB is a pain becasue it weighs too much. Any idea how much music you can load in a 1GB IPOD?

obviously, the capacity is going to vary based on the length of the songs and their bit rate, but apple estimates 240 (1GB model) or 500 songs (2GB) in 128-Kbps AAC format.

I htink I jsut found it. Some say around 250 to 300 songs. Thats not bad. I like to have the variety.

I got one of those Ipod shuffles's. It says it can hold 240 songs, but I got about 390 on mine, because punk/hardcore songs are short.

Cool. I am getting one just for the work out aspect. I remember paying that much for a cd player walkman about 8 years ago.

the shuffle is the one that only plays in random order and you cant pick the order of the songs or pick an artist/song right? If thats the case, I really dont like that aspect of it at all. Im happy with my 80gig iPod and the few songs that I put on my iPhone.

You can't choose the order or anything as there's no screen on it. The thing is about the size of my thumb. All you can do is make a playlist on your computer and put it on the ipod. Then you can choose to play it straight through, or put it on shuffle.

Clevo, get one. I use one to workout and run with. It never gets in the way. I also feed the headphone wires under my shirt. You are good to go.
