CROSSING THE BORDER TO CANADA ?

SAAAAARS - 3-22-2005 at 12:55 AM

would two minors be allowed to cross the border into canada if they had the necessary ids and notes from parents? DOES ANYBODY KNOW?

i am planning on going to montreal on wednesday but i'm not sure if this is going to be allowed. i have been reading websites about going over the border and it never addresses minors. not that i read, anyway.

PLEASE HELP ME
THANKS IN ADVANCE

Saaaars -

pre-9/11 i'm sure it would have been fine, so long as you have proper ID, but these days, who knows.

you'll probably be on hold for like a day, but you could call the national passport information center - http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/first/first_839.html

Your pal,
.duane.

haha thank you
i'll probably give it a call tomorrow when i'm not so tired

i really hope i can go..

Duane, you are one funny motherfucker: "encouraging minors to cross the border since 1992". When you get to the border crossing make sure you have all of your shit in order and ready to hand to the person in the booth. They don't tolerate you being a fucking retard and I guess they figure if you're not smart enough to hand over a few documents then they might as well bust your balls and you'll have to pull over, get your car searched, and get questioned about your plans for being in Canada.

'luring minors across the border' would have been better. the later it gets, the funnier i am. 3:02, time for bed.

how old are you?

remember that legal drinking age in canada is 19, which i see your going to montreal then its only 18!, in quebec.

ENDERA.x - 3-22-2005 at 06:08 PM

crazy.

Canada is easy to get into, honestly. You shouldn't have any problems if you have ID's and notes from parents.

SAAAAARS - 3-22-2005 at 06:26 PM

thanks everyone

and i'm only 17, so no drinking for me...unfortunately

Birth certificate is a must & yes under 16 or 18 you need guardian consent ina written letter.

BDx13 - 3-23-2005 at 01:05 AM

married mike, commin' through from down under!

ENDERA.x - 3-23-2005 at 02:05 AM

honestly fuck no warning.

I've seen them since they got all big and what not, fuck it.
I reserved those feelings (im not saying it for no reason), until I had seen them after a year ago. Talk about disappointing, but I'll keep these further comments to myself.

SAAAAARS - 3-23-2005 at 08:04 AM

if i had the option, i'd go see them two years ago
but that isn't really up to me

so.........i'm going to be POSITIVE! and try to enjoy it!

Killthehumans - 3-23-2005 at 11:03 AM

if they are playing with some shitty band, remeber to show those peeps how its done yo!

I saw a No Warning video on Headbangers Ball, and it was alright. I definately didnt like the song as much as their old stuff, but it wasnt completely terrible. We'll see if they stick to this new formula. I would imagine it would depend on whether or not they make more dough this way.

GabeTexasGAMC - 3-23-2005 at 01:24 PM

Did you know the dude from Sum 41 and the dudes from No Warning have been friends since childhood.
The dude from Sum 4 not only Produced the new No Warning, but had a guest vocals spot as well.
Arent I just a litle well of usless information today.

RobXRay - 3-23-2005 at 10:16 PM

the producer is also there "manager", a total douche by the name of greg nori. i shouldn't begrudge them wanting to make a living from music, but that new album infuriates me. i just think it's so bad, especially compared to the s/t and ill blood.

SAAAAARS - 3-24-2005 at 01:07 PM

IN CASE ANYONE CARES...THE SHOW WAS SO MUCH FUN
THEY DIDNT EVEN LOOK AT ANY OTHER ID OTHER THAN MY LICENSE
I GOT A BLOWN OUT TIRE ON THE WAY AND DIDNT GET TO MONTREAL UNTIL 1030 BUT WE WALKED IN THE DOOR AS NO WARNING WAS GOING ON

THEY PLAYED 2 OR 3 SELF TITLED SONGS, 3 OR 4 ILL BLOOD SONGS (INCLUDING ILL BLOOD ITSELF AND THEY CLOSED WITH SHORT FUSE) ANDDDD THEY PLAYED THE TWO OR THREE SONGS THAT ARE OK ON THE NEW CD

IM SIKED STILL

BDx13 - 3-24-2005 at 04:08 PM

glad to hear it all worked out for you and that you had a good time.
