Who are the oldest 'active' punk/hardcore guys??

XHonusWagnerX - 2-28-2008 at 12:28 PM

I was just thinking about how old some guys that are still in bands are, even if they are only semi-active bands.

Who are some of the oldest...

Lee Ving 57 years old
Marky Ramone 55 years old
Glen Danzig 52 years old
HR 52 years old
Keith Morris 51 years old
Mike Watt 50 years old
Jello Biafra 49 years old
Henry Rollins 47 years old
Ian McKaye 45 years old
Dave Brockie 44 years old

Some may disagree, but I always considered Iggy Pop to be punk .
He's older than dirt.
Add in Lemmy who is 62 or 63. He influenced plenty of punk.
Just my opinions though.

Lemmy 62 years old
Iggy Pop 61 years old

How old is Vinny Stigma? Roger Miret? Chris Doherty? Dave Smalley? East Bay Ray? Klaus Floride?

Some of the old English guys are still up there. Roi Pierce, 4-Skins, 999, etc.

Die Toten Hosen have been active since the 70's as well.
I'd agree with Iggy as well, they may not have called it punk, but it was. He's kind of an entity of his own though, like Lemmy. A force unto themselves.
Charlie Harper is still kicking around.
