Almost time.

well
it's over and it was better then the sopranos end...

welcome the new omar, so that's cool

the machine once it gets started can't be stopped and if you don't keep moving forward with it, it'll leave your ass behind...

I was worried that McNutly was going to off himself though
he was in fucking deep and got lucky...

I thought the new Omar thing was corny as hell. Overall I'd give it a 4 out of 5 stars, felt very complete, but a bit too neat.

Don't know about the Sopranos end. People didn't like the ending but it will be talked about for years, outside of a small but dedicated fanbase, The Wire went out with a whimper. I couldn't even compare the two.

it wasn't a bad end to the series, but i agree with everything being a little too neat. definitely no real surprises.i loved slim dropping cheese, glad that happened. i figured the new omar thing was gonna happen. i think they got their point across with tying everything up. the world keeps turning. marlo being back down to nothing don't matter, nor does anything else in the grand scheme of things.

I don't think he was down to nothing, he's got the money from the co-op or else slim and the other dude wouldn't be sitting with the greeks. I just think they were showing the high life wasn't for him and he was happier raising hell on a corner.

and slim blasting cheese was great although they did give meth his going out moment...with probably the most intelligent string of thoughts he's had in three seasons.

my original hope was for omar to take micheal under his wing, as soon omar came back
micheal was a good kid and was being wasted in the thug shit...

I hate the dookie went out like that...
he's the future bubbles...
I think they had to wrap it up neat just so they wouldn't get a flaming for being too much like the sopranos end...

but it's not that neat of a package, and they still could do the 6th season down the road if they wanted to.

so what is everybody going to watch now...

hbo has nothing but big love when it comes back...
the john adams thing looks good

showtime has brotherhood when it comes back...

but wtf...
I've been a sunday night cable junkie for 8 years atleast...
my wife says we can jsut watch movies, but where is the anticipation in that
trying to guess who's gonna die next week,
what fucking twist awaits our young heros

I should have been born back in the day or old radio and film serials

i wasn't talking about financially, i know he got paid.....he comes back down to the street and gets disrespected by a couple of kids. he's not a player anymore, and someone else will rise up. cycle of life.

I liked it a lot
