you know, this is an issue we follow because we live with the repercussions every day, but i was really surprised by those last two statistics posted
above:
- 27,000 babies will die before their first birthday
- 9.3 million children don’t have health coverage
prematurity and birth defects, ok, it's a lot, but i get it.
but 27,000 deaths? 9.3M w/o insurance?
