ummmm he was one of the original new york guys?
he was there from day one?
he passed away?
his friends choose to remember him with a show raising money for his family?

whats tough to understand?

JawnDiablo - 4-23-2008 at 08:19 PM

Ray was the real deal.

DaveMoral - 4-23-2008 at 09:03 PM

Yes!

And Warzone has got to be one of the all time best NYHC bands ever.

Lucabrasi - 4-23-2008 at 09:11 PM

and your comment is out of line
if you're being sarcastic with this question, stop

im a little confused as to why you're angry? I guess I asking questions on this board is a bad idea.

Did the contents of this thread actually happen? Seriously? Did it?

WARZONE, RAYBEEZ = legends.

Discipline - 4-23-2008 at 10:07 PM

Nice shirt. I wanted it to go to that tribute show so fucking bad.

BDx13 - 4-23-2008 at 11:00 PM

two things to keep in mind...

1. when ray died, most of us have been banging out heads to warzone for 10+ years.
2. when ray died, luca was like 14.

to be fair, it's not unthinkable that luca may not have a true understanding of what ray meant to the scene. certainly not the appreciation that us old heads have.

Lucabrasi - 4-23-2008 at 11:28 PM

yeah. Im only 26, im not in my 50's like most of you. ;)

gavin - 4-24-2008 at 07:10 AM

im sorry luca
i honestly didnt realize you were asking a serious question
if i had realized that i would not have answered like i did
110% my fault
i was a dick
again, sorry

upyerbum - 4-24-2008 at 07:20 AM

From all accounts Ray was a very cool guy, but I cannot get into Warzone, no matter how hard I try.

MikeFromInhuman - 4-24-2008 at 12:27 PM

I was at that show and the other one with SOIA and Shutdown.

no worries. I'm sorry for coming off so blunt in my first post. I shouldn't have worded it as I did.

Taking away the human element of a comment can lead to these things. DAMN YOU INTRANET!! *shakes fist*

Hey man, I was 16 and not even into hardcore yet. I guess I just happened to pick up Warzone stuff when I first got into the music.
