Why would you do this to yourself? Personally, I think he automatically ruins anything he's in. No matter how good the storyline, writing, other actors, director, or any other aspects of the movie might be, if he's in it, it's gonna suck shit through a straw.

I like Point Break only because it's so bad. The Replacements was a great flick, and I liked Devil's Advocate. Other than those I stay away from anything with Keanu Reeves.

Constantine was okay, but The MAtrix was fucking terrible. I didn't bother with the two sequals. Dark City has a similar story, came out first, and was 100 times better.

The Matrix is one of the biggest piles of shit I've ever fucking seen. I didn't wanna watch it in the first place, but got dragged along by some friends who couldn't understand why I wasn't overjoyed to go see it.

I think he's in the closet, but that has nothing to do with stuff.
His acting is pretty bad. He seems to have one emotional tone and I can't shake that dumb surfer dude vibe I get from him.
The parts he plays are just always super exagerated for him to be playin. Like if bruce willis played them ok, but him comeon.
He shoulda stuck to his 80s movies
but he's super rich and i am broke so whatever.
i refuse to use the name Keanu.

He's fine as long as he doesn't talk too much. If he says more then 5-6 words per scene the movie sucks. I don't know why you guys are hating on the Matrix. Good plot, GREAT EFFECTS (watch it in 1080p w/Dolby TrueHD and if you dont change your mind, check your pulse), and good plot. I will admit the first two where on point but the third was a little too sci-fi for me.

Good plot? You're outta your mind, that thing is a giant turd with no worthwhile attributes. If I wanna see those kind of effects I'll watch some Kung Fu movies and enjoy the added benefit of much better acting.

I hated it and thought it was terrible, but that's because I prefer a good story over flashy special effects. To me the story in the Matrix was weak and the acting was even worse. I was really disappointed in Lawrence Fishburne who I normally really enjoy. To me, The Matrix was all style over substance, hence why I think it was fucking terrible.

Probably in my Top 10 and the soundtrack isn't half bad either. You can find that movie pretty much anywhere that sells movies online.

It's my opinion too. There really isn't anything more than the poorly fleshed out skeleton of a story there at all and it's pretty apparent from the acting of some of the decent actors involved (like Fishburne) that they didn't feel it was a worthwhile expenditure of effort. By the way, the effects I was referring to are the fight effects which it's common knowledge that they were taken directly from thousands of Kung Fu movies that have been using that stuff for decades.
