saw Starkweather yesterday

drove to NYC for the show and then caught a Mets game today. Starkweather played lots of new stuff. All of it sounded awesome. I introduced myself to Todd afterwards and he said a new album is already recorded and they've got enough stuff lined up for an EP and another album. Looking forward to that stuff.

There were people at the show who seemed to already know the words to some of the new songs. Im guessing that means some stuff has been leaked. Anyone have it? BD, Im looking your way...

i got an unmastered copy of the new recording back in december and it is fucking great.
unfortunately, i can't share it.
i've never dubbed an advance for non-business purposes - it just wouldn't be appropriate.

maybe i'll ask ren if the thorp board can host an exclusive preview track for members only.

yep. I brought a few buddies with me and made a weekend out of it. None of my friends had heard Starkweather, but they thought they were great.

Anyone know what the name of the new album is gonna be?
