Question about military uniforms

Noticed something in a movie today that I've seen several times. Anybody know why the flags on their sleeves are backwards?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say its the camera, I can think of no reason why anyone, in any unit, in any military, would wear a backwards flag.

Heh seeing Jericho reminded me of this as well. On 1 sleeve its the right way, on the other sleeve its backwards.

is it because its the same patch so when you put it on the opposit side its backwards?

Yeah it just sounds like the cunts were too cheap to order 2 versions of the patch, and they sewed them all on the wrong sleeve.

The stars go into battle (meaning forward). So when the flag is on the right shoulder, they use a backwards flag.
