not sure what the back of the bad brains rip off will say. there are a few ideas, but nothing final yet. it should be done on a black shirt and on a yellow shirt though

With all due respect to Honus guy, I find most of those designs a little too 'quirky' for Slapshot.
don't get me wrong, i love Slapshot and the first time I saw them play was one of the most intense shows I ever went to and that's kinda why I can't really get behind those designs.

Understandable. The reason that those are the type of designs that get done is because the guys in the band are older and quirky now. They play the same songs, but they are not the same people. Its more about fun now than intensity.

I do know what you mean though, thats why the mask shirt almost always gets done. I actually wanted to do a bulldog shirt for this tour too, but I dont have a good hi-res image of the dog.

Not sure about hoodies. I think thats up to MAD or whoever will handle the merch over there. All I do is make the designs and the band sends them over to Europe. Not sure if hoodies are a good idea in July?

I do have the polo shirt with the Bruins S logo on it. I also have 2 other polo shirts, 1 with the 1st division hardcore logo on the left chest and no back print. And another with the same front, but with Slapshot Boston on the back.

BD – I am infact going with them on the tour. As far as the baseball jersey goes, I don’t even know how many are being printed. All I know is that Mark emailed me, Choke, Ed and Chris asking about shirt sizes for a special shirt they wanted to do in Europe. Then he mentioned to me that it was a baseball jersey. He had an idea for a design, but I did that up, sent it to him and he loved it. He made sure they can do a spilt front print (over the buttons) and they said yes so it should be getting done. I just don’t know if its going to be literally like 5 shirts or if they are doing a bunch. I will do my best to hook up everyone I can with stuff. Just not sure how much there will be!

JOE – The tour is July 4th to July 13th . 10 shows. Mostly in Germany and one show in Barcelona, Spain.

BD – I actually did a band photo shirt, but they guys are not to into photo tshirts. There was a shirt for Unconsciousness that had a weird Slapshot/Boston logo on the front and the back was the group picture of the guys walking like in Reservoir Dogs. The one I did this time was the Step On It album cover on the front and “Step On It” and crossed hockey sticks on the back. I don’t have a picture of it with me at work.

the army green is a tshirt and a hoodie with the same design. the small mask as pocket and the bulldog on the back. there were different colours of this available. i had it in blue too.
the black nfx is a bootleg the guy of tankcrimes records printed some years ago. he also did this as hoodie too, unfortunately he hasn´t them anymore.
ye, it´s the "men are men" hoodie from taang!.
the nfx hoodie has show flyers on the back and on the sleeves, also from taang!.
i hope i mean the right one. this is a baseball jersey that has the design of the shirt above as backprint. it was sold on the 93 tour, when i remember right.
the 16 valve hate is a hoodie and has "slapshot - old time hardcore tour `96" written on the back.

another one i have, but nor pictured is one with the same design as the hockey jersey, but as tshirt.

That hoodie sounds awesome. I have a green hoodie with the bulldog on the front, but dont have that one.

I thought that was the Taang! 'men are men' hoodie, but wasnt sure. I dont have that, but the screen print is so bad that I never got it. If I found one at this point I would get it just to have though.

That 16 Valve hoodie is awesome. Ive seen it, but dont have it.

The baseball jersey is what I was talking about. I thought thats what it was. Its kind of ugly, but Ive been looking for one for awhile.

If you ever want to sell any of that stuff (I know you probably dont) let me know.

i checked your want list and are sure hat there is no 16 valve hat lp version on lost and found besides the picture version, but i think there was a test press in a blank cover available.

never heard of this bicycle union, but i´m not into bmx or stuff like that.
and i´m not a collector, i buy only stuff i personally like. if there´s a shirt i don´t like i don´t buy it.

Yeah... I saw that Live at SO36 shirt, but the seller didnt take paypal and international bank transfers are VERY expensive! I have a friend in Germany (singer for Crosscheck) that used to pay for things I won on Ebay.de and then once there were a few items I would send him money and he would ship to me, but I dont talk to him very often anymore.

Im 99.9% sure there is no 16 valve hate on vinyl (except the picture disc), but you are right. There was a test press of the picture disc that is on black vinyl. I actually lost that auction a few months back and have been kicking myself ever since!

I know that Curtis @ Taang! has either test presses or acetates for a double 10" set that he was going to do of 16 valve hate & olde tyme hardcore. I wish they would put that out!

Bicycle Union is a BMX company from the UK. I think its run by a guy from the band Voorhies. They asked for permission to use the Slapshot mask on some stuff and then started using the caption 'Back On The Map' with it. Then they started using an altered version of the mask & bones logo on stuff. I only really like the stuff because they did things like the gloves & the backpack.

The Dog shirt is in the bottom row all the way to the left. I really want the shirt with the biker guy on it. Its from an old flyer.

If you have the CROSSCHECK CD 'Kill the local drug dealer' theres a song on there called 'X-Cuses'. I actually wrote the lyrics to that song when I was about 14. Kalle the singer asked me if I had any sXe lyrics when they were working on the CD and I sent him those and they used them. Pretty cool!
