Sebastian Bach & Jamey Hatebreed

Spoiler - 5-4-2008 at 07:47 PM

are writing songs together....no good can come of this.

FROM A INTERVIEW ON BLABBERMOUTH:

Behind The Amps: And although "Angel Down" is less than a year old, have you worked on any new songs or demos?

Bach: Yes, I'm actually working right now, I have four songs, that I am writing lyrics to, that I am collaborating with, with Jamey Jasta from HATEBREED. They are one of my favourite new metal bands, they write incredible metal anthems, and I'm working with Jamey, which is very exciting for me.

Thats from Bach, half the time he's full of shit.

JawnDiablo - 5-4-2008 at 08:50 PM

i don't like either of them so i hope they both suffer

XHonusWagnerX - 5-4-2008 at 09:22 PM

Weird. So fucking weird. Bach must have been turned onto Hatebreed by Scott Ian or Evan Seinfeld on that weird band show they did on VH1.

gavin - 5-5-2008 at 06:43 PM

i tried to like hatebreed at one point
i gave them a few listens
they are metal for one thing
and two, they just are not all that good
they are a band for 14 year olds who think they are angry

skid row.........well....................yeah

and thats that

it's really not that weird. I know people that have met him a bunch of times and the dude is into heavy music. In the Metallica documentary "A Year and a Half in the Life.." Sebastian Bach is wearing a Warzone shirt.

Im not totally surprised either. Sebastian was the main reason that Pantera opened for Skid Row when Pantera was on the 'Vulgar Display of Power' tour.

Plus Hes from New Jersey so he probably knew a bunch of the older hardcore guys from NY.

No doubt. Especially in Victory's catalog. It's just that every Hatebreed record since has recycled the same exact riffs from that album 10 times over. They shirt as shit ain't treading new ground, and they've lost their shine.

I want to hear that last S. Bach cd with Axl Rose on it... heard it was pretty damn good.
I like the first 2 Skid Row records.

I'm not a diehard fan or anything, but I do like Hatebreed. That being said, I wouldn't hold up any of their albums to that glory.

I wanted to check it out awhile ago but when I went to buy it they didnt have it.

Thanks!!

Hatebreed to me transitioned into a metal band. Which is fine but I dont consider them Hardcore.

I love Skid Row, and have watched different programs with Bach on them, and he seems like quite the character. Hes a lot closer to our scene than most people would realize.

As for the Aerosmith cover he did with Axl, I love both frontmen, but didnt care for the song.
