i assume you only get it direct deposit if you filed your taxes asking for your rebate to be direct deposited, huh? i read somewhere that those were
going out first. i go old school, paper money! well, actually, my accountant does, so that means i do!

I filed my federal taxes and got my refund direct deposit so I think by default my stimulus check went direct deposit.

Yeah, they send it out based on how you filed your regular taxes this year. There's a schedule for when to expect your payment by over at irs.gov and
they break it down by the last two digits of your social security number. I think there were three groups of numbers you could fall into and the
second of those were supposed to be done no later than today. I fell into that group and mine finally came in this morning. Of course, all this is
dependent on having filed your taxes before April 15th and not owing anything that they could deduct like back taxes or child support. The snail mail
paper checks are gonna go out later, so anyone who went that route still has a few weeks.
