I've seen this guy's stuff before, that is far from the freakiest shit he's done. I can't remember his name, but his art was in Juxtapoz a while back.

i *think* that guy had some stuff in the Sensation exhibition.
he did a piece called 'dead dad' which is really freaky too.

the guy is called Ron Mueck.
i think it's the same guy anyways as his work is pretty similar.

i dunno, i don't think Ron's the "pig picture" guy.

i checked out some of his stuff and it seemed like it was in the same area, but a different "neighborhood".

i also couldn't find the "pig picture" on any sites displaying Ron's work and Saint said the pigman was one of the lighter works in the collection.

I really don't think it is this Ron guy. The realistic sculptures are similar, but everything I saw was more along the lines of this thing, which actually looks more like some kind of dog/human hybrid than a pig to me. I'll see if I can find that old Jux issue and track down the name.
