I love to hate them so I picked hate.

JawnDiablo - 5-22-2008 at 03:28 PM

I am Indifferent.
I like all the material they did up to and including the NYHC EP.
After that, I didn't care for it.
I saw them live this winter, and they were great live.
I hardly listen to them anymore, but when I do I dig it.
But for me it stops at the EP as far as stuff I like.

Discipline - 5-22-2008 at 03:44 PM

Love 'em

BKT - 5-22-2008 at 03:51 PM

Funny Madball story...
My friend booked them and Breakdown to play this dump called the speakeasy where I live back in 97.
They had demands.
deli trays
6 cases of beer
$1000 cash.
He got all the stuff, but only came up with $900 at the door.
$5 a head .....
They weren't pleased and he thought he was going to get a DMS style ass kickin....
But they were cool because the place went nuts.

That's some pretty hefty fucking demands.

And I am indifferent. They have a lot of good but a lot of bad.

LordActionWood - 5-22-2008 at 04:48 PM

I have only heard the first two 7"s and Set if Off.....

the first 7" is novel
the second 7" (Droppin many suckas) is a perfect NYHC record
I wore out my Set it Off CD..

Indifferent.

Spoiler - 5-22-2008 at 07:14 PM

Indifferent

they put on a great live show...but I just don't care about listening to their albums that much

tireironsaint - 5-22-2008 at 11:37 PM

Hate hate hate them. This band epitomizes what is wrong with HC today to me. The only thing of theirs I can stand is the Ball Of Destruction 7 incher and that's not really the same band at all. I've seen them a few times live and each time is worse than the last. One of the few bands who have actually made me laugh out loud with their stage presence, aside from bands who are actually funny on purpose. They were the absolute worst thing at the Fun Fun Fun Fest last year. George Anthony from Battalion Of Saints made fun of them. For those that don't know, George Anthony is somewhere in the range of 50 years old and still wears a fishnet shirt and leather pants, and yet he was cracking up laughing at Madball. That really oughta tell you something right there.

clevohardcore - 5-23-2008 at 08:40 AM

Love this band. FUcking kick ass in every release.

MyOwnWay - 5-23-2008 at 09:04 AM

Love Madball. Their sound is a bit different since signing with Ferrett. I think they should return to Matt Henderson producing their albums. Matt did Hold It Down and the NYHC ep, both my favorite Madball records.

Just my opinion. But again, definitely love Madball.

clevohardcore - 5-23-2008 at 10:48 AM

A band that releases DEMONSTRATING MY STYLE and SET IT OFF goes down in my book as one of the most kick ass bands ever. Love those records. Jamming DMS as we speak.

thedog - 5-23-2008 at 12:00 PM

love em.

morgan - 5-23-2008 at 12:21 PM

Heard some of there stuff and thought it wasn't bad but I wouldn't go so far as to say I love them.

CR83 - 5-23-2008 at 12:26 PM

LOVE!

Jason the Magnificent - 5-23-2008 at 01:11 PM

Haven't been relevant or good in over 10 years.
