they had some hits, but the politically view of ian makes this band unlistenable for me.
i decide "hate them".
...but i must say, i hear them once in a year...

gavin - 5-22-2008 at 01:45 PM

love 'em
only up to a point though
i cant take the ballads and whatnot

Furly - 5-22-2008 at 02:25 PM

Indifferent.

JawnDiablo - 5-22-2008 at 03:37 PM

indifferent.
I don't know nuthin bout them except their reputation and the phony nazi kids in my hood growing up thought they were the tits.
I heard a few songs here and there, which i liked the sound of and all but never really took the time to listen closely.
perhaps some of you could email me some noteworthy tracks....

Love 'em.

They are shit. I don't even care about the whole white power thing, say what you want to say. Their just an overrated band like so many others.

hate em,

MM.

Siczine.com - 5-22-2008 at 04:37 PM

Horrrrrrrrible both musicially and ideologically.

upyerbum - 5-22-2008 at 04:39 PM

Love em', can't stand anything he did outside the band.

LordActionWood - 5-22-2008 at 04:42 PM

hate...

my appreciation of their decent first album is shadowed by their later participation in sketchy politics.

Only this year could I actually acknowledge some of their early songs as amazing....I feel guilty for having them on my ipod.

BDx13 - 5-22-2008 at 05:18 PM

LordActionWood, i'm surprised by your response! as recently as last year, i can recall you turning away from me in disgust when i mentioned how much i enjoy their 'alabama' 7"! ha!

i don't love them, but i'm not indifferent. still deciding how to vote...

Murk - 5-22-2008 at 05:20 PM

indifferent. but Street Fight is a killer song.

DaveMoral - 5-22-2008 at 08:42 PM

Hate. Just by reason of politics.

Six66Mike - 5-22-2008 at 09:05 PM

Indifferent because I've honestly never listened to more than 1-2 tracks sometime 10 years ago.

This is almost exactly how I feel about them, except that I've still never even gotten a burned copy or mp3s of that one album. I've actually felt a little conflicted just because it showed up in the recommendations list on Amazon for me. As recently as a year ago I would have just said "fuck that shit" and deleted it from my list, but I'll admit that I've thought about grabbing it if it came up used for cheap on there.

with the exception of one or two songs (and aside from the politics), hail the new dawn is fucking awesome. just saying.

morgan - 5-23-2008 at 02:10 AM

Never bothered to listen to them. Don't agree with their politics but as far as a band goes I'm indifferent.

clevohardcore - 5-23-2008 at 08:38 AM

hate em.

MyOwnWay - 5-23-2008 at 09:12 AM

I didnt vote, because I've never listened to them. Based on their WP stance, I never will.

CR83 - 5-23-2008 at 10:53 AM

I'm going with indifferent because I don't hate or love them. The song blood and honour is great. I have no idea what it is saying but musically I dig it. I used to listen to it over and over while playing Mike Tyson Punch Out.

gavin - 5-23-2008 at 10:59 AM

1.2.3.4. i dont like youuuuuuuuuu

newbreedbrian - 5-23-2008 at 03:07 PM

the 70s stuff is flat out great, as good as anything from that era: i dont like you, anti social, breakout, backstreet kids, a case of pride, etc etc. those first three singles and the all skrewed up album are killer, as is the boots and braces ep. as for the later political stuff, no thanks. tho i will admit some of those songs are catchy as hell
