I am UNDER 300!!!!!1111111111

Get it? I am under 300 lbs now. I am 298.5lbs! Fuckin a right! That means I went thru the whole phase of 300's (399-301) in about 5 months.

I have been waiting to get into the 200's for a little while and have been excited to get to it. I hoped on the scale today in my work pants, shit, glasses, and suspenders.... scale read 301.5lbs.... So what do I do? I strip down to my underwear to get me below 300! 3lbs of clothes made the difference.

I win!

Yeah, quote a bit of a difference from being just under 450lbs. I am shooting for 250 or less.... 48.5lbs to go!

A George Jefferson style foot race? ;)

Also, for excercise I have been going to the gym 2-3 times a week. Doing some elyptical, treadmill, upper body strength work. Seeing as I was 450lbs, I do not really need any lower body / leg work since I can lift the whole stack of plates with my legs.

CR83 - 5-28-2008 at 06:44 AM

You are great and I am VERY VERY proud of you Man. Congrats!

Thanks! As I had stated before, losing weight was my #1 goal.... now, I am starting towards #2... Getting a better paying job. I have a 4 hour test coming up this weekend to try and get an apprenticeship at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a citizen working for the Navy. ALL sorts of careers to train for like soldering, pie fitting, injection molding, sandblasting, electrical, etc... Apprenticeship is 4 years and starts at $16.00+ an hour and goes up each year. Wish me luck, I suck at tests!

Mark Lind - 5-28-2008 at 06:23 PM

What's your diet like? Just curious what you combined with the exercise to achieve these great results.

You should be proud. That's a major accomplishment.

DaveMoral - 5-28-2008 at 06:34 PM

Yeah, Monty. Did you graduate back to solid foods yet?

Seriously, hats off to ya. You look like a new man!

XnMeX - 5-28-2008 at 07:21 PM

I'm not sure if you know or not Mark, but I had gastric bypass surgery. Still alot of work and takes mor discipline than I though.

I am eating ALOT of protein and not much for carbs. Can't eat high fatty foods or sugars. My stomach can hold about 3-4oz's and that is IT!

Basic day...

Morning: Viactive calcium supliment (for Woman, by women!), Cetrum chewable 1 a day vitamin (but I take 2 a day to make up for the lack of food intake I guess... doctors orders)

Breakfast: 3 1/2 oz's of chicken breast fried in non fat cooking spray

Snack: Banana Chips

Lunch: Thin and trim Turkey Breast / fat free cheese sandwich on a mini pita (usually don't finish it)

Snack: 10-15 fat free Pringles or 2 Stela Doro Breadsticks (my carb snack, probably shouldn't have this but my snack options suck and it's only actually about 10-15 carbs)

Dinner: Pigs in a blanket (1 and 1/2) Made with Healthy Choice low fat hotdogs or Ball Park fat free hotdogs and Pilsbury lofat cresent rolls. Only 7 carbs in the cresents and I only have 1 1/2 of them. Also, with fat free cheese in them.

Night: Viactive calcium supliment, Cetrum chewable 1 a day vitamin, and a Prilosec (should be getting taken off of this soon.... I use the ghetto Wal Mart brand)

I also drink about 1-2 liters of Crystal light thru the day and a 20oz diet Lipton green tea with citrus (just got into this stuff and it is AWESOME!)
