Why not. I think priest should marry. It may help against "kid touching". Then again, maybe not.

The church should be abolished but if they're gonna stick around they should allow women priests and get rid of celibacy.

I don't see any reason for this to even be controversial. I despise organized religion, but what difference does it make if the priest has to sit to pee? This is beyond retarded, but then agin, this is christianity we're talking about, so that's to be expected.

what would she be? a priestess? today's headline, "priestess charged with 7 counts of molestation" hahahaha. i think it would be a-okay!

i'm all for women being priests, or what ever other kind of religious leader you may recognize. whay aren't they? because the good book says only men can be? i'm all for tradition, but the catholic church really should be seizing this opportunity to improve its image.

i'm also all for priests allowing to marry. again, i'm all for tradition, and i understand the concept of being married to god and devoting all of your attention to his service, but clearly, too many men are prooving they are mere mortals, and can't control themselves, despite any vows they taken to the contrary.

i've heard that early on, priests were allowed to marry. i don't know if it's true (heard it on the history channel), but supposedly they stopped allowing it so that when land-owning priests died, the church would inheret the property, thus expanding their financial holdings. sounds good, but like i said, who knows.

that sounds very possible to me the church was the government back when...
