you live in texas, how is this possible

defstarsteve - 6-21-2008 at 04:17 PM

today we are looking at 105 in the valley
yesterday it was 109
normal high is 89

but there is no humidty
so as long as you are out of the direct sun it's not so bad

That's why I love the winter. I just stay inside.

barc0debaby - 6-21-2008 at 08:53 PM

We've hit triple digits all over san diego county, it got up to 116 somewhere around here.

See, that's why Philadelphia sucks. It'll be like 95 but have like 78% humidity and you just can't escape it. Then your AC is working overtime and it just blows.

Can't wait to get to Portland. Good bye unbearable summers!
Trip begins in one week exactly.

Discipline - 6-22-2008 at 04:25 PM

I'll take a Canadian winter over a southern summer anytime.

My combat load weighs exactly 78 lbs. If we are going somewhere nasty, we double up on ammunition and that puts me at 105. Jeeeez, I must be nuts. It has been above 110 for the last week straight. At least there have'nt been any sand storms letely, those bitches are naaaaaaaaasty.

BDx13 - 6-24-2008 at 09:12 AM

amazing.

how prevalent are heat stroke, dehydration, and other high temp related health issues?
that's gotta be a huge issue.
