Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

Hitting the drive-in tonight

They have The Hulk and Iron Man playing together. Pretty damn sweet for only 10 or 11 bucks.

Sounds pretty damn cool.

sweet, the drive in rocks!

I think I went to the drive-in a few times as a kid, but don't really remember it.
I think I would love it.

DaveMoral - 6-23-2008 at 06:17 PM

I saw Rambo III and Beetlejuice at the drive-in.

Discipline - 6-23-2008 at 07:38 PM

I've seen many movies at the drive-in over the years. It's normally two movies, and three on long weekends. It has three screens so there's a good selection. The best is when they do dusk-til-dawn nights where they show four movies. Fucking awesome.

I had a blast last night. I enjoyed both flicks more than I thought I would. Can't wait for the next batch of Marvel flicks leading up to the Avengers, which was my favortie series when I was younger.

Unfortunately after seeing the previews for Wanted, it seems they've taken one of my favorite comic mini-series of all time and turned into another random piece of Hollywood shit.

Siczine.com - 6-24-2008 at 04:49 PM

I need to hit up a drive thru before they are all gone.

And Mike, do you see both movies for $10 at separate times or are they both playing at the same exact time?

Yeah, you know. I was flipping through the graphic novel of Wanted and I realized... the previews look nothing like the world in that comic. Never woulda thought there were like costumed heroes in Wanted just based on the movie trailers.

$10 for both movies together.

Voodoobillyman - 6-25-2008 at 02:07 AM

Wanted does look like a big piece of dog doo. The last thing I saw in the theatre was Nightmare on Elm St part 4, it was the bees knees.

Discipline - 6-25-2008 at 03:01 PM

I don't go to the theaters much at all because they're like $12-13 around here. I'll only go if it's something I really want to see. I saw the new Indiana Jones in theaters but it's rare for me. I go to the drive-in all the time during the summer because it's $11 for two movies, sometimes three. They get all the new releases, so I'll be seeing the new Batman there. They even have half price Tuesdays.

And damn I just looked at the database that Steve posted and all the PA drive-ins have closed it seems

BDx13 - 6-26-2008 at 03:33 PM

if you're in philly, there are a few in NJ that might be open and close.
