Mark lind's new cd ERROR???

I popped the cd in at work and it plays in windows media player and it popped up the cd artwork... for Murderers Row...

Anyone else see this?

I haven't got mine in the mail yet, but on itunes one hardcore album, forget which one, shows the artwork for Sarah McLaughlin.

A lot of people have been telling me this. Andy King, is there a way to fix this? Maybe some database that the information can be updated in? A computer reaches out to the net to get the CD information so I'd assume it can be updated somewhere.

Deffinetly sucks... But I guess the plus side is that it is people that already bought the cd, so it's not like it will confuse them. I am sure when I rip it to my MP3 player though it will give me the Murderers Row artwork (which I can easily change from that point).

I am wondering if it is a database issue or on cd info...

Mark, all Andy has to do is have whoever handles the digital distribution contact Itunes and they'll correct it. Might take a month or two though. Itunes is constantly fucking shit up like this.

I don't think it's an Itunes issue... Mine it did it in windows media player.

CDDB (Gracenote) probably stuffed it somewhere. Thats why Winamp uses to get info when you put in a new CD

My mp3 player was out for repairs but I got it back now so I will rip it to my computer and put it on my Zune and see if it has the right artwork and let you know... But of course, I left the cd at work.

I got my CD in the mail today and iTunes doesn't pull up any art for it at all. I've tried getting it to retrieve it from CDDB three times now and still get nothing.

Of course, being a resourceful guy, I just snatched the art from Mark's signature up there and now it shows up just fine. :thumbup:
