Last I heard on the news US prices were equivalent to $1.12/Litre and I almost fell off the chair because I couldn't figure out why that price was
such a big deal. I've been here 3 years now and it's not been at the price the whole time. We pay over $1.60/L these days which is well above
$6/gallon.
