my mom is the biggest beatles freak in the world
we even went to england when i was in 6th grade to do all the beatles tour stuff
i wish i remembered more of it

That's awesome. I'm jealous. One of my uncles did that too.

gavin - 7-3-2008 at 04:30 PM

it was awesome but i wish i was old enough to really appreciate it
they have bus tours everywhere
or at least they did back then
we went to liverpool too for a few days and saw all kinds of stuff
the cavern club, where they all grew up ect.
we also rode on the magical mystery tour bus, which i dont remember too well but have seen the pictures

Lately for me it's been a lot of Minisrty and The Matadors.

i wanna see pics of 6th grade geoff on that magic tour bus.

i lived in an apartment literally right around the corner from abbey road studios for a few months. every day i'd see people standing in the street having their picture taken, and i'd think to myself, 'what the fuck are these people about with the standing in the street every goddamned day.'

the studio is just off of a traffic circle and i always came and went from the same direction on the same side of the street. after weeks of this, i finally came home from a different direction, saw people standing in the street having their picture taken, and it dawned on me what what they were doing. from the direction i usually travelled, i didn't get it. but coming form the other direction, you can't help but recognize the scene.

schmaart, see.
