For good folks. Unfortunately I got to come home early because my wife lost the baby. Bittersweet return, but we are doing fine. No more incoming, no
more suicide bombers, no more 120+ desert heat. Good to be homethedog - 7-10-2008 at 12:55 AM

Your loss is fucking terrible, and I wish you and your wife only the best. My parents lost a child and they've never forgotten it.

Voodoo, that's a hard situation to come home to, but I'm (we're) all glad you made it in one piece. Everything happens for a reason, I firmly believe
that, you should too. Hold your family close man, and stay strong.tireironsaint - 7-10-2008 at 08:39 AM

I'm gonna second this one. Good that you're back safe, even if the circumstance is terrible. If you made it through hell and came back home, I'm
sure you and the wife will find a way to make it through this, too.random - 7-10-2008 at 11:48 AM
And M., after the fucking scare you gave us, reading this:

Sorry to hear about your loss man, but glad you are back safe. Are you gonna go to shore duty or back out to the fleet?Voodoobillyman - 7-10-2008 at 10:19 PM
Thanks all, the family is doing fine and the wife is ok. We are making it through this and have decided to have another shot at it when she is ready.
I really appreciate everything everyone here has done for me and others, I was telling my wife today how much you guys all mean to me even though we
have never actually met. I love this place, it's a second home for me. Barcode, I am doing the remaining shore time, they are all dicked up and need
some fixing so I will be busy. Thanks again all, now I can get on with my life.REV.PAULIE - 7-11-2008 at 06:26 AM
good to know that you're home, whomever you are...and never stop trying for what you truly want.
knowing what you want in life makes EVERYTHING that much more difficult.
but,the rewards that much more fulfilling.

sorry about you and your wife's loss.DaveMoral - 7-19-2008 at 02:12 AM
Sorry to hear your wife lost the baby Bob. I know what that's like. We went through a couple miscarriages before my little one came along, the worst
wasn't even a real pregnancy. Went for three months until we found out there was no baby in there... just a fluid sack.
Glad to know you're back home where you oughta be though. It's bittersweet though, I'm sure.XHonusWagnerX - 7-22-2008 at 08:48 PM
