ALL OUT WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CR83 - 7-11-2008 at 04:14 PM

God Damn I love this band. This just hit the spot. I have conference calls the rest of the afternoon. I like to pass the time with some All Out War- Assissins in the House of God.

Feelin' good.

Backed.

Speaking of AOW, I have been playing Behead The Lamb a lot (new deathmetal band in the vein of Obituary, Carcass, Bolt Thrower featuring Jesse Sutherland and Jose Segarra)

oh, hell yeah.
chris, do you have condemned to suffer?
holy shit, i love that record.
the song 'bleeding the weak' drives me insane.

one of the best shows i've ever seen... starkweather / all out war / crisis
i would not be surprised if people died at that show.

Awesome band, stoked I got to see them play once. Think it was with Undying in Buffalo at Xtreme Wheels Skate Park, killer show.

Discipline - 7-12-2008 at 12:16 AM

Ten years ago I was a big fan, today I find them kind of boring.

WINTHESKIN - 7-12-2008 at 12:24 AM

I always wondered why were these guys on The Philly Dust Crew Comp when they are from upstate N.Y.

Discipline - 7-12-2008 at 12:37 AM

I always wondered why people called them a hardcore band, when they were/are a straight up metal band.

Six66Mike - 7-12-2008 at 03:12 AM

I've used All Out War to describe what metalcore should be. To me they are the perfect definition of metalcore.

BDx13 - 7-12-2008 at 05:42 AM

Discipline, all out war, starkweather and crisis all suffered in the early- and mid-90s from their unique sounds. it seems weird to say now, but back then, they were definitely not fully embraced by the hardcore crowd or the metal crowd. they were always people in both scenes that thought they didn't belong. fuck it, all three bands were heavy, and that's all that mattered!

mike, agreed.

WIN, good point. i never ever thought of that. i'd guess because of the relationship they had, either with Met (too damn hype) or starkweather.

DAre To Defy was the shit!

BKT - 7-12-2008 at 05:22 PM

Fucking amazing band.

MM.

clevohardcore - 7-13-2008 at 12:16 AM

AN AOW show in Clevo was low attendance and much brutality. HARDCORE people dissed them and METAL fans didn't know what to make of em. I have always went to see them as they are fucking great live. For Those Who Were Crucified is one of the most kick ass records ever. That shit is awesome.

They always were on metal bands tours like DYING FETUS or whoever, but they always blew them off the stage AND THEY USUALLY FIRST.

skullfuck - 7-13-2008 at 10:57 AM

AOW is slightly worse than Elton John.

I most certainly do sir. Bleeding the Weak huh? That song has that "acoustic" intro and then dives right in to some heavy shit.
