Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

Sailing to France Tomorrow

Newfie France. Please track the race and cheer loud. Starts at 12pm tomorrow and updates once an hour 24/7

I am leaving to sail to Saint Pierre, France...off the coast of Newfoundland tomorrow. Every year I do an ocean race and this year is my favorite. It will be three days of crazy, non stop, cold, exciting, wet and wild sailing offshore into Northern waters.

The race starts at 12pm on Monday on the Halifax waterfront and will run for three days depending on the wind.

For those of you who would like to track progress go to http://trackinfo.fistracking.com/2008RHSP/
and track the boat CEILIDH. Onboard we have a couple musicians: Ian Mosher from the Mellotones and Andru Lordly from the Hopping Penguins along with Ken Bell, Randy Stevens, Eric Theriault, Marc Power and little old me.

I will also be posting on my blog from my mobile phone whenever possible: www.jonnystevens.blogspot.com

Follow along and cheer loud so we can hear you.

Thanks.

Jonny Stevens
