can you get your previous landlord to state in writing that these were known problems when HE originally rented you the place? if so, present that to
the current owner and insist on him sending your $725 (you won't see the interest).
if he refuses, let him know you're not afraid to take him to court and remind him that you have a witness that supports your claims (and that, as a
man of principle, you ABSOLUTELY will take him to court). |
