The Clash to release "Live at Shea Stadium" in October

Sony has announced plans to release The Clash's legendary Shea Stadium performance on CD this October. Recorded at Shea on October 13, 1982, the set will include the band's entire performance as they opened for The Who on their "farewell" tour.

The tour came shortly after the release of the band's massive 1982 full length, Combat Rock.

I saw them on that tour at the Orpheum in Boston.

I still gotta check out The Clash stuff that Mr.BV sent me a few weeks ago. I was never a fan, but I promised that I would give them another shot!
