I didn't feel like bumping my original Melvins thread so here's another.
I saw them last Tuesday in New Haven. I took two crappy photos with my phone on my camera. You can't make out too much, but you can certainly see
Buzzo's hair.

The show wasn't nearly as packed as I thought it would be. I'd say the place wasn't even half full.
Highlights:
-Melvins closed with the national anthem followed by Boris.
-Honey Bucket
-Really cute drunk girl getting on some random dude's shoulders and taking off her top. Random, but amusing.
-Two drummers! I knew they did this, but it sounded really good... except for Honey Bucket when they were a little off time with each other.
Lowlights:
-A few meatheads wandering in off the street thinking it was a hardcore/metal show trying to start a mosh pit. Nobody else was into it, but they
insisted on windmilling right in front of me for a few songs. So distracting. Thankfully they finally gave up.
-Only a few old songs. Even though I really like the new album, they played almost every song from it with maybe 3 or 4 old songs. Also a bunch from
(a) Senile Animal.
-Show ended after midnight and I had to be up early the next morning. God, I sound so old.
I went with a coworker since none of my other friends wanted to go, and she's totally not into any music I listen to. I guess I should be thankful
she agreed to come along. The opening band was just some dude with a guitar making noise through a bunch of effects pedals and Dale Crover drumming
behind him. I thought it was pretty fucking neat, but I thought my coworker was gonna walk out.

Buzzos hair is so awesome it should have its own band!
