Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

What do you think this means?

I had Chinese food for lunch today, and when I cracked open my fortune cookie at the end of the meal, there was nothing inside.

sounds like a line from a bad emo song.

MyOwnWay - 4-15-2005 at 11:54 PM

A friend of mine got a fortune cookie that read:

If you are still hungry, eat another fortune cookie.

Boogie Capone - 4-16-2005 at 04:57 PM

Mine said "that was not chicken".

GabeTexasGAMC - 4-16-2005 at 11:58 PM

I always get 2 fortunes... weird.

BKT - 4-23-2007 at 02:58 PM

If I had to guess it means the same as all the other fortunes that one finds in those cookies. Nothing.

Or it means that one of the workers on the fortune cookie line was not paying attention.

MM.

Maybe it is a metaphorical statement on nothingness and the only way to find enlightenment is through emptiness.

Or maybe I'm talking out of my ass (I'm leaning towards the latter)

stateofdisgrace - 4-24-2007 at 02:26 PM

Happened to me once. Then I asked for another fortune cookie. The guy behind the counter said:
(insert Chinese accent) "no more fortune for you!"

That's it. Just no more fortune's for you........

MyOwnWay - 4-24-2007 at 02:28 PM

Amazing how this thread was from two years ago, and there was a post from me. Christ I've been here for a while.

upyerbum - 4-24-2007 at 07:06 PM

It was a Friday cookie.
