New Album "Three Steps Back"

Killing Time is now in the studio recording our third full-length album appropriately named "Three Steps Back." The album is scheduled to be released in early 2009. The band started work on the album in January 2008 after returning from our tour of Japan and South Korea. To write the material, we decided to bring it back to where it all started—Drago’s parents’ garage, the place where Breakdown had formed and where the classic “Brightside” record had been written and rehearsed. We see “Three Steps Back” as both a return to the band’s roots and a new vision of what a classic hardcore band can still accomplish. We think that these twelve news songs bring New York Hardcore back to its punk beginnings while still offering up that classic Killing Time crunch and power.

Awesome news. That story is great. Back to the garage. That is too good. Plus I will look forward to it being a great release. Love this band.

there are alot of FLOCK OF SEAGULLS people at Cleveland State.

I hope it's good, but they'll likely never top Brightside.

The Method was definitely good...it just wasn't Brightside.
And for a bane like this, it'll be hard to avoid that comparison.

This is great news. Always been a big fan of this band.

Anyone know why they changed their name to Killing Time from Raw Deal? Raw Deal was a great name for a band.

MM.

i believe there was another band that was named raw deal and threatened to sue im not 100% sure.I'm stoked on this release I hope they have the demo sound to them. The demo version of wall of hate is classic.

You are right.

A British band had the same name and said they were gonna sue, so they changed thier name.
