Ohio woman gets life in prison for killing baby daughter in microwave oven

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) _ A woman in Dayton, Ohio, has been sentenced to life in prison without a chance of parole for killing her baby daughter in a
microwave oven.
Twenty-eight-year-old China Arnold chose not to be in the courtroom for Monday's sentencing.
Arnold was convicted of aggravated murder in the 2005 death of month-old daughter Paris Talley.
She was spared the death penalty because jurors could not reach a consensus on the punishment.
It was Arnold's second trial; the first ended in a mistrial when new witnesses surfaced.
Defense attorney Jon Paul Rion (RY'-uhn) has asked for a third trial, saying a former cellmate who said Arnold confessed has now changed her story.

They are saying that this woman may only get 16 years because a jury could not come to a clear decision, but it lays in the hands of the judge to give
this piece of shit life because the fucking stupid asses on the jury. FUCK THESE MORONS!!!!!!!!!! That poor child must get some closure from this
mess.

Apparently what I read was one of this douche bags other kids has a fascination with putting animals and toys and things in the microwave. Someone
like a boyfriend or neighbor must have encouraged this demented behavior and it manifested into this. Supposedly they were saying that this mother was
so drunk that she couldn't stop her kid or this person from making it happen even if she wanted it to stop. She was that inebriated. Now mind you that
this could have been a lie just to get her off the death penalty but apparently one of her kids is really fucked up.

I've read articles over the years about kids microwaving peoples pets, & I will never understand how someone could do that to a poor cat, dog, bird,
whatever, much less their own child. Shit makes me sick....
