Thats right kids... Its official... I'm leaving next Wednesday the 17th to goto Chicago.

Why is he going to Chicago you may ask?

Well because I'm going to film my episode of The Judge Mathis show and hopefully win my case and get back the $1150 that my xgf never paid me back from a loan made in 2005.

I'm pretty sure I will win, but no matter what I will get...

round trip airfare from Boston to Chicago
car service from airport to hotel
1 night at the Chicago Embassy Suite
$35 credit towards room service
car service from hotel to TV studio
car service from TV studio to airport
$200 for apearing on TV
$35.74 to reinburse the fee for filing my case in RI

I'm not sure what the rules are about what you can wear on TV, but I have a Slapshot polo shirt ready to go! I dont want to look like an ass because if I lost because of how I looked or carried myself it would really suck! I dont have a brief case, but I have my courier bag which I will be putting a DEF-STAR sticker on!

Thats about it for now. Obviously there will be updates along the way once I'm there. Just figured I would let you all know that it is actually going to happen.

well I will be the plantif (she will be the defendant) and if I win then the TV show does pay me. If I lose than I still get my $200 for being on TV.

O SHIT THAT IS TOO FUCKING FUNNY. The crazier or goofy you or she is the better. SO standing out with a SLAPSHOT polo would be funny as fuck. With the DEFSTAR decal left on the briefcase that was sitting on the table in plain view for the entire episode. Maybe at the end when your getting interviewed about the case you can say the word THORP. Say its slang. Like, its THORP(awesome I won the case) and "Judge Mathis is THORP".

I have my stuff all typed out with all the dates I can find, the amounts she borrowed, what she paid back. I have text messages (printed and saved on my phone) talking about the loan. I have an envelope she sent money in that she wrote "start of what I owe" on. I think thats all I will really need. Its hard to figure a way she can deny it was a loan when she paid some back.

I'm guessing she agreed to be on because once she got the call she knows Im not going to give up and if she loses, the TV show pays me and she loses nothing but a day or two out of work. Plus she gets a free trip to Chicago and $200 for being on TV.

If I lose I get a free trip and $200 for being on TV. If I win I get the $1150 she owes me + $200 for being on TV and a free trip.

If she wins she gets $200 for being on TV and a free trip. If she loses, she gets $200 for being on TV, a free trip and shes off the hook for the $1150 because the TV show pays the setlement.

Yeah it does bother me that she wont actually have to pay me back. In all honesty I wanted her to pay so she didnt get away with something more than I needed the money. Unfortunantly that wasnt going to happen so at least this way I get the money back (assuming I win). I also get a damn funny story out of it.

I dont know if they pre-decide something once I get there, but as of now no one has told me anything except I get $237 no matter what.

I leave Wednesday of this week at 5:40pm and I get back Thursday night around midnight.
