Nervous as hell

Its funny getting tattooed is nothing new to me and doesn't bother me anymore. But I'm fixing to go get my first piercing and I'm nervous as hell. Not scared that its going to hurt. Last tattoo session covered my Achilles tendon and the rest of the way around my ankle. Just nervous and excited.

man, i went through a piercing phase.
back in the 90s.
slave to fashion, i was.
plus, i had friends that did it, so i never had to pay.
today, only one remains.

- two regular old 12 gauges and one 5/8" in each ear lobe
- one in each tragus
- labret
- tongue
- sack, yes, but never the poker

I watched an ex get his PA done, Holy freaken blood! He had to put a baggie over it held on with a rubberband to catch it all.

The best part was watching him try to pee in a straight line, not so easy when you got 2 streams.

BD, I was unaware of this. You took one to the bean bag? Man, that is crazy. I was be terrified to do that. You are a brave soul.

haha, yup, and that's the only one i still have.
it's been there for 15 years, so i don't even think about it any more.

the rest came out over time.
the traguses didn't heal well, so they only lasted a few months.
the barbell in my tongue was a big-balled, 8 gauge bastard that i got tired of biting.
the gaping holes in my ears progressed over seven or eight years before i pulled them out in 98. these days, all you see is a line on my lobe, but i can still stick a pen through 'em.
i liked the labret a lot - it was super tiny and hid in the soul patch - but all the ghetto-fabolos sisters in my neighborhood in brooklyn started getting them, so i pulled it out.

I had a friend that used to compuslively stretch his lobes in improper ways. That dude ended up with the biggest fucking keyloid I ever did see.
