Most offensive words?

I was having a conversation with a friend who prints an underground hockey newspaper that I contribute to. We were discussing what he would and what he wouldn't print. He's open to most things.

This lead to me thinking- what word(s) do I consider to be THE most offensive.

For me there are three.

1. The "N" Word
2. Retard or a derivation of that- I hate this one the most
3. The "C" bomb is up there too.

How about you all?

I guess 'The N word' if used certain ways are offensive to me.
but I can take a joke, and listen to The Bully Boys without feeling like scum.

This is why 50 is a horrible rapper. Anyone that thinks this fool is a good mc doesn't know shit.

I have a problem with people who feel they should live their life in a bubble and never be exposed to "potentially offensive" things. If your life is in such a precarious balance that hearing a certain number of select words will do you some sort of damage, then you need some damage. Life has a lot more offensive things in it than a few words floating in the ether.

Why do we teach our kids "sticks and stones" and then act like words are the most dangerous thing in the world? Why can't we get past name calling and being shocked by "vulgar words"?

Can't think of any words that really offend me. There are a few that I try to avoid using around some of my friends out of respect but otherwise I really don't care.

I think that any word can be offensive if its said in a really angry aggressive way and depending on who is saying it and who they are saying it to.

That being said, I cant really think of a specific one that offends me.

I've always found the spelling of vulva as an unpleasant sound, not offensive or anything, my ears just don't enjoy the pronunciation of that word... I like vagina too and specially cunt...
