100,000 people turned out to see obama in St. Louis on Saturday

that is fucking insane

random - 10-18-2008 at 08:24 PM

wow, just think about where we'd be as a nation if, to 100,000 people, "hope" and "change" amounted to more than listening to a god damn speech.

BDx13 - 10-18-2008 at 08:29 PM

didn't know that many people lived in stl.

XHonusWagnerX - 10-18-2008 at 10:35 PM

wow.... how do they get a count of a crowd that big?

XnMeX - 10-18-2008 at 10:59 PM

That looks more like 937,281 people to me. I call bullshit! ;)

clevohardcore - 10-19-2008 at 12:25 AM

They were talking of this on the radio today. He's like COLDPLAY only he kicks more ass.

JawnDiablo - 10-19-2008 at 09:02 AM

There's a reason he has the crowds.
If he has the balls and resources to do just half of what he says he wants to do, thinks'll be looking up.

defstarsteve - 10-19-2008 at 01:47 PM

yeah I think it's called hope

jonnynewbreed - 10-20-2008 at 06:31 AM

I like the fact that the news doesn't report the fact that he's killing McCain in the polls.

BDx13 - 10-20-2008 at 07:03 AM

oh, they're definitely reporting it here.
and then mccain blames obama's lead on the liberal media

the concern is that obama supporters get cocky, don't turn up to vote cause they figure it's in the bag, and then he looses. there have been articles about how the networks are going to cover the results... about how networks have to be careful not to report in such a way that makes it seems there's a landslide on the east coast, thus discouraging west coasters from voting.

Them's fightin' word BD :singing:

This happened here? Wow, I seriously had no idea. None at all.

I was more concerned with the Blues beating the gay assed Blackhawks.
