Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

Going to be gone a few days

I'm moving on Saturday and I'm getting all my shit packed up, which includes the computer. I'll be back on Sunday or Monday so don't have too much fun while I'm offline.

Hopefuly you got help. I hate moving, but its inevitable sometimes.

Furly - 11-13-2008 at 07:58 PM

I've never really moved. I've helped plenty of people though, and that's a bitch.

I actually tried to move a fridge 2 blocks while it was full of food. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Mayonaisse is very slippery.

Hey Disc,

If you don't post by Tuesday, BD will have the cops breaking down the door. :)

Good luck with the move... even though moving sucks ass. I'm looking forward to being a real grown-up with a stable home at some point in life.

Don't get lost.

Finally got my shit in and most of it unpacked. Figures it would pour rain the day I move. I felt bad for the people who were helping me because my back is in such bad shapre I couldn't really do anything.

I'm so cool I moved into my mom's basement. My financial situation has been so bad for the last year and I'm in a ridiculous amount of debt. My mom paid to have her basement redone so it's like an apartment and it's nice, but I never dreamed I'd be moving back in with one of my parents in my 30's.

There's a huge difference between 25-year-old kids who graduate from college and don't want to get a job or cook & clean for themselves and somebody who's run into some trouble and is trying to fix the situation. I've known people in both scenarios. You don't have shit to feel bad about as long as you're working on getting things straight each day and making some improvements.

It sucks, but I've got way too many issues to deal with before I can even think about going back to work.
