Was No Escape the singer from Deadguy/KIG old band or am I confusing names?

BDx13 - 11-20-2008 at 05:59 PM

Yeah, Tim Singer was the guy I was thinking of. He was supposed to have had a new band a couple of years back (think it was Family Man) but never heard anything.

I used to love No Escape. Never got to see them play, but I ran into them at the Smithsonian shortly after I moved to Baltimore. I just happened to be wearing their t-shirt and for whatever reason, they just happened to all be wandering through the same museum I was.

No Escape were one of my favorites from the 90's. So fucking underrated. I saw them when they played Gilman in 91 with Worlds Collide. I was fucking pumped on them. Worlds Collide...not so much.

I had heard rumors that Tim Singer was going to be doing shows out here in Seattle with the Kiss It Goodbye guys. They were going to be doing a collection of Tim's Greatest Hits of sorts. Deadguy, No Escape and Kiss It Goodbye songs.

I envy you BD, BURN is my favorite hardcore band of all time, I would give anything to have seen that band. To see them with No Escape and Turning Point would just be an added bonus.
