Deathkiller

I haven't listened to their songs in a while but they put a bulletin up on MySpace today so I'm streaming them again. Great band. They have moments of sounding like Only Living Witness and then it goes completely brutal.

Check em out if you haven't yet.

thanks

I like them a lot. Haven't thought about them in almost a year. Thanks for the reminder.

BDx13 - 11-22-2008 at 03:43 PM

interesting.
i like the yelling.
i'd need some time for the singing to grow on me.

joemaconmovies - 11-22-2008 at 03:46 PM

i was just talking to them. i really like this band.

tireironsaint - 11-22-2008 at 03:47 PM

They sound really good at what they do, it just doesn't really pull me in. There were quite a few moments that sounded like a harder Quicksand and I liked that, but there's just too much polish and slickness to their sound to make it appeal to me. If I lived in an actual city where they might tour through, I'd almost certainly go check 'em out live to see if that changed my mind, but the recorded stuff sits just the other side of the borderline of being likable for me.

clevohardcore - 11-22-2008 at 03:54 PM

That is good stuff. Who was in HATEBREED/MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD from that band?

joemaconmovies - 11-22-2008 at 03:59 PM

i think the guitarist/singer

i never understood the polished studio complaint. i mean, do you really want studio recordings that aren't demos to sound so raw they might as well just release a live album? that's me though.

clevohardcore - 11-22-2008 at 04:02 PM

Playing them in the kitchen and my son is rocking out to it while eating pumpkin pie.

Might have to grab this. Its actually really good stuff. At least the 5 songs I've heard.

clevohardcore - 11-22-2008 at 04:03 PM

i think sounds pretty raw, but in clean way.

joemaconmovies - 11-22-2008 at 04:04 PM

do it. buy it.

Didn't say it needed to be that raw, just that it sounds over processed to the point where it sounds more like something somebody programmed out than something organic that a group of people put their energy into.

i never heard it like that but then, once again, that's just me. it takes a lot for me to say something is over processed.

He was in Hatebreed WAY back early on.
