i can't EVEN begin to discuss that....

it's a fucking short story on how to demand the world, and all it's offerings...

"...STRANGE LOSSES...MEN DIE..."

a sturdy steed of the highest caliber of equine to thou who can explain to me WHAT THE HELL THAT MEANS!!!!!!

clevohardcore - 11-27-2008 at 09:13 AM

MANOWAR > van halen

Discipline - 11-27-2008 at 11:22 AM

That list of shit is ridiculous.

JawnDiablo - 11-27-2008 at 12:29 PM

I have no idea what kind of demands I could make if I had the opportinity......but I am sure I could come up with something absurd

The finest whole organic pornography, still sealed in plastic wrap to be no less than 72 hours of total viewing pleasure, with atleast 6 hours to be fetish related.

upyerbum - 11-27-2008 at 01:46 PM

I wish I still had Fugazi's rider from when we did security.

what do you remember from it?
this im interested in

upyerbum - 11-27-2008 at 07:53 PM

It was really security heavy, barricades, no stage diving, that sort of thing. The next day in the local music rag there's an interview with dickhead, and he's calling all the security nazi's. What a fucking whining little bitch that guy is. Sorry to all you Minor Threat fans, but there's a very specific reason I don't like that guy, or his silly fucking games. I don't know much about Fugazi, but the guitarist was a cool guy.

REV.PAULIE - 11-28-2008 at 05:54 AM

with fugazi...it's REALLY FUCKING EASY TO ONLY CHARGE $5 A HEAD WHEN YOU'RE PLAYING A 400-1,000 VENUE AND YOU'RE GETTING 80-90 % OF THE DOOR...

who needs merch?

MarkV - 11-28-2008 at 06:49 AM

Paul-
I'm not really getting your post... are you giving them shit for having accumulated their draw and calling their own shots??

clevohardcore - 11-28-2008 at 09:26 AM

How do you work that out as a band? How do you get 80-90% of the door? Is that overblown or is that actually true?

REV.PAULIE - 11-28-2008 at 11:18 AM

you get guaranteed that much money,it's really hard to cry the blues about some idiot "moshing"...and the whole "we don't want to sell t-shirts" argument/stand goes out the window...rich kid's getting richer, yet trying to look like saints about it...hippie scam bullshit, and they FUCKING BLOW as far as i'm concerned...

bald-o should've quit after minor threat...rich kid's,as well,mind you...but great band,nonetheless...was lucky/young/old/dumb enough to see them 6 times,as a young'n...

you do know what fugazi (pronounced fu-GAYZEE,in all actuality) means, don't ya?

Voodoobillyman - 11-28-2008 at 11:39 AM

I saw Fugazi in Portland (Maine) years ago and these Nazi skins from Boston came up and trashed on everyone. Baldo, as he is so affectionately called here, didn't do or say a damn thing about it either. He let the carnage go on unchecked the whole damn time. Some champion for the weak he was. That dude was a tool from day one and it never stopped for him. Props for his involvement in the beginnings of it all, but other than that, fuck him.

This was before FSU came along and ran the nazis off, only to become the next terror of the "scene" I'm glad I have a family and no time or inclination for the bullshit anymore.

I believe it means FAKE.

JawnDiablo - 11-28-2008 at 02:22 PM

Initially , when i was first starting to get into this genre of music I thought they were pretty cool with a different approach, but after a while I just had the feeling that they were just out to proove a point theat they were holier than thoughor some crap. Whether I pay $5 or $20, I don't need to hear some emaciated looking bald prick tell me not to slam or whatever. Their first record was good. So was Repeater. They're just another case of me sometimes wishing I knew nothing about the people making the music.

It's an acronym from Vietnam.

Fucked Up, Got Ambushed, Zipped In

Discipline - 11-28-2008 at 07:01 PM

Oh. In the movie Donnie Brasco they called a fake diamond a fugazi, that's where I got my definition.

random - 11-28-2008 at 07:47 PM

http://ninjawords.com/Fugazi

fugazi
(adj) : artificial, fake, false. Can be in reference to a thing or a person. If a person it is usually in reference to a superficial person; something that has no substance
(abbrev) : a term coined in the Vietnam War by American troops standing for 'Fucked Up, Got Ambushed, Zipped In', denoting a difficult situation. (Actually a backronym.)
