I just finished re-reading the Dark Knight Returns by frank Miller and cannot express how impressed I am still am with this story. Soooooooo amazing, it truly was a point of evolution for the comic industry as a whole. For any who may be remotley interested, check this story out, i can't stress how good it is. It was written in 85-86 and still holds impact today. I mean seriously, Miller had planes crashing into the tallest buildings in gotham back then.............maybe Franky is more than meets the eye?

Did you ever read the Dark Knight Strikes Again? I thought I wouldn't like it, because Miller's art is terrible in this one compared to DKR... but I actually really enjoyed the story. Quite different than from where you might think the world is at the time of DKR, and I wonder if he'd always had that in mind or if it was something he came up with years later.

Dark Knight Returns was an amazing story w/ good art. Dark Knight Strikes Again was a good story with corny artwork.

I just got done reading Joker by Brian Azzarello and I couldn't put it down. I thought it was even better than The Killing Joke.

The Dark Knight Returns is my favorite comic EVER. I've read it at least 200 times. The sequal was a huge let down. I thought the story was mediocre at best, and the artwork was beyong fucking terrible.

The Killing Joke is a classic as well.

I loved the DKSA, the story is great the idea is great and I can see where Frank wanted to go. Especially when you understand that in his mind, Batman's just a little bit off his damn rocker. That's abundantly clear in All-Star Batman & Robin the Boy Wonder(with artwork so much better than Frank's, Jim Lee!). The art in DKSA is just so lame it was hard for me to want to read it I was so disappointed in the quality. I finally read it and wasn't really disappointed.

I'm interested in this Joker comic. I'm currently having a hard time with the new style of Joker, his new persona, that's currently in the Batman RIP story and presumably there-after. He's all Marilyn Manson and shit. Thanks Grant Morrison.
