is there a way to crack the region encoding on the internal dvd drive? everything i'm finding is for older (pre-2006) versions of vlc, which should
be for the ibook instead of macbook. and if not, i just had the hard drive replaced, so it's not the original one from when the macbook came out.
this is a giant pain in the ass when i have legit dvds bought in the us and am living in the uk for a year, and i can only switch encoding five times.
