BDx13 - 12-10-2008 at 04:04 PM

BDx13 - 12-10-2008 at 06:17 PM

Discipline - 12-10-2008 at 06:33 PM

I think it's funny that in the member list there's a person named Willy Wonka with no posts, but the position of Super Administrator like BD.

BDx13 - 12-10-2008 at 06:39 PM

it's a bs account we created just in case.

upyerbum - 12-10-2008 at 08:17 PM

Welcome aboard. Some of us are constant assholes, some of us are occasional assholes, but we're all assholes.

Voodoobillyman - 12-10-2008 at 08:50 PM

Welcome!!! If you have lurked for awhile then you probably already know the deal with most of us. pretty easygoing bunch here, very close knit and such.

joey - 12-10-2008 at 09:55 PM

thanks, again

DAK - 12-10-2008 at 10:53 PM

Stumble Upon.. so literally "stumbled" :)

I listen to anything and everything. My base is probably girly indie rock (indigo girls), some old punk, some new punk, hard rock, and metal. But I love opera and classical music and rap and oldies. Oh, and blues, but mostly the old stuff pre-1960 or so.
I suck at remembering names of bands or songs, so I'm useless at trying to give examples. This very second I'm listening to Lamb of God. :) So sayeth the Ipod.

Thanks again for the welcomes.

what is oi?

I, uh, am getting a seriously strong testosterone vibe in here... I think I've seen one other female, what's up with that?

oh yeah, I'm Mel. Enyo is the greek goddess of war.

DAK - 12-11-2008 at 03:46 AM

Welcome Mel.

panzerkreuzer - 12-11-2008 at 08:27 AM

Oi! is street punk. Started with the skinheads, now others play it too. Fine examples include The Oppressed, The Business, 4-Skins, Cockney Rejects, etc. One of the best punk offshoots.

As for the lack of estrogen, there's been a few women here over the years which we strongly encourage, but most don't stick around.

Mickey - 12-11-2008 at 05:57 PM

I've lurked for years. I even had an account when I first did, but forgot what it was. I'm not really a posting freak, but like to give my .02 when I feel I have something good to contribute. I listen to a lot of BFB, Madball, Hatebreed, Death Before Dishonor, and my current favs Wisdom in Chains. I've been to countless shows in 20 years and saw a lot of insanity, but I'm old now and like to just chill with the boys............ages 3 and 1 1/2. That's about my speed now hahaha

random - 12-11-2008 at 09:51 PM

oh, and welcome to all the new people. you've already passed the first test by not trying to sell shit in your first post. so a sincere welcome to all. and if we seem like assholes... first, we are... second, it's nothing personal. it's just our way. :)

Mostly, I read and keep the Christians at bay with a large stick.

Rich Uncle Skeleton - 12-12-2008 at 10:20 AM

Hey, guys (and gal). I just joined and figured I'd introduce myself. I've lurked this board for a while, and I've always been impressed by the amount of people posting here who like Sheer Terror. I love 'em so much that I went and got UGLY AND PROUD tattooed on my gut, so I figured it was a good fit. I live in Indiana, work as an EMT, and I think I hold the world record for most Neglect songs ever listened to on an ambulance.

BDx13 - 12-12-2008 at 10:50 AM

Damn, new members coming out of the digital woodwork!

Welcome, Rich Uncle Skeleton.
Yeah, there are definitely a few ST fans here... and Paul's often on here as well.
Post up a photo of that tattoo if you're up for it.

Discipline, don't you have Ugly & Proud on your back?

Rich Uncle Skeleton - 12-12-2008 at 11:09 AM

You know, I would, but I have no idea how.

BDx13 - 12-12-2008 at 11:27 AM

if you've got the image uploaded to someplace like flickr or imageshack, just follow the instructions below.

if not, you could send it to me, and i'll put it up on our server for you. bd ~AT~ thorprecords.com

It looks like lurkers are coming forth. Welcome everybody.

newbreedbrian - 12-12-2008 at 01:03 PM

Dave - 12-12-2008 at 01:59 PM

we welcome new ppl.

XHonusWagnerX - 12-12-2008 at 02:17 PM

Welcome Mel & Joey.

I usually post more but I'm away right now.

Dave - 12-12-2008 at 04:08 PM

soon you'll be visiting the site like ten times a day, like the rest of us.

Enyo - 12-12-2008 at 04:17 PM

I just wanted to say that I hope no one took the Christian comment the wrong way. I live in Jerry Falwell's town.. we have our own special breed.

Dave - 12-12-2008 at 04:21 PM

it's very rare a comment will be taken the wrong way in here.

Enyo - 12-12-2008 at 04:47 PM

So noted, Dave, but you'll have to remember that I'm just a sweet southern girl. Raised to be respectful and polite at all times. ;)

Two whips. They wrap around each arm.

YES!

BDx13 - 12-12-2008 at 08:16 PM

just got this from Rich Uncle Skeleton.
loose the tattoo, it could be me. HA!

DAK - 12-12-2008 at 09:06 PM

I think Rich fits in with the rest of us.

Dave - 12-13-2008 at 12:50 AM

fucking sweet

Rich Uncle Skeleton - 12-13-2008 at 01:06 AM

Thanks, guys. I think it looks like shit, but I like it that way.

I used to be in a band that did "Here to Stay" at the end of every set we played. Once, at the tender age of 19, I managed to strip down to my tighty-whities and sing that one for some of our soused friends/soused bar patrons. The place got trashed, I was dogpiled onto the drums, and it was awesome. Incidentally, even though we were at least partially responsible for the destruction of his fine establishment (read: dive), the 60-ish year-old owner LOVED us and asked us to come back.
